The Eagle Point Parent Group (EPPG) is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Eagle Point Elementary. The EPPG goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers, staff and students to learn, socialize and grow.
The EPPG is a group of dedicated parents and guardians - many who work full-time - who generously volunteer their time to support our school and students. Since 1991, this passionate group has been a cornerstone of the Eagle Point community, stepping in to provide extra support and resources wherever they're needed most.
Whether it's organizing events, fundraising, or lending a helping hand in classrooms, EPPG plays a vital role in keeping our school environment vibrant and enriching for every child. Everything we achieve reflects the strength of the Eagle Point community - amazing things happen when we work together for our kids.
Because your voice matters, come to a meeting and help us build a strong, vibrant Eagle Point community for our students and families. Everyone is welcome!
We meet the second Monday of the month at 6:30PM in the Eagle Point Media Center. Free childcare is provided and no RSVP needed – just show up!
EPPG activities are managed by an elected board, that consists of the following members:
Chair: Keeps everything running smoothly - leads meetings, plans events, and works with the principal.
Vice-Chair: Supports the Chair, helps organize volunteers and events, and looks for grant opportunities.
Secretary: Takes notes, sends updates, keeps everyone informed, and helps with newsletters and social media.
Treasurer: Handles the money - tracks spending, manages the budget, and makes sure everything adds up.
Member-at-Large: Jumps in wherever needed - helps with events, joins committees, and supports the team.
