Read-a-Thon
Students dive into beloved stories, discover new favorites, and help their school - one page at a time.
The Eagle Point Read-A-Thon is the highlight of the year for EPPG - and our biggest fundraiser supporting the Eagle Point community. Every student from kindergarten through fifth grade is invited to join this celebration of reading.
All reading outside of school counts, whether it’s comic books, magazines, newspapers, library books, homework, or stories shared with a grown-up. Students choose their own reading goals and record their minutes, contributing to a friendly competition among classes to see who can read the most. Along the way, there are prizes for registering, reaching reading milestones, and achieving fundraising targets.
New theme every year!
Our 2026 Read-a-Thon was a huge success!
Eagle Pointers logged 145,424 minutes of reading -
that’s 2,424 hours, or 101 days, more than three full months of stories!
WAY TO GO!
Thanks to 1,496 generous donations, we raised $62,446 to support our mission:
strengthening, enhancing, and encouraging the educational and social environment at Eagle Point Elementary - providing opportunities for parents, teachers, staff, and students to learn, connect, and grow.
